Front Grill Parking Sensors

I have had the car for nearly a month now and still loving it but in the last week a parking sensor has been reported as being dirty and needing a clean.  This also results in parking assistance being disabled and a warning message that doesn't stop popping up unless I turn off the parking sensors and one other safety feature.

I thought I was going to have to take the car in to be checked but found that blowing on the two front parking sensors in the front grill cleared out whatever was there causing the issue!  Both times it had rained very hard, has anyone else experienced this?

i have exactly the same issue driving along front parking sensor beeping then they disables stopped the car and restarted they were fixed then started again after an hours driving
