The locking thread 'just' touches the thread hole...so need a thread extender as Flash22 says...

Wait...

Does the alloy (or thread hole) look off-centre to you? 🤔

If I put the full size wheel in (tyre + alloy) would the thread hole be NOT align with centre hole of alloy???? :jawdrop:

Yeah, it's impossible for me to find a perfect bolt extender - coz as you said the alloy is raised higher, but the spare wheel clamp bolt JUST touches the bolt hole - so no room for a perfect bolt extender.

I have bought a brand new tyre now (Nexen with lifetime guarantee at £65)

Put new tyre in, insert clamp + bolt extender (about 2mm gap between clamp + alloy) : just squeeze a old t-shirt in and now it's a tight fit! :flex:

The boot is raised - so have some old computer foam packings (big poly rectangle pieces) - that just about the right height to raise rest of the boot floor to the new tyre height 🙂

Hi Wayne
Had your problem last night. One of my headlights was out.
Looks like my optiwhite bulbs are already had it. Luckily I kept the original ones and when I put one in and put the lights on. The remaining optiwhite was as dim as the standard one.

Now do I try to get the Toyota optiwhite or try another brand. ?
