Today has not been a good day ..

Was delayed getting out at work due to issues on a customer system so left late ..

This ment I got stuck in a Traffic jam on the M4 (due to a truck being burnt out) ..

And while I was queuing .. someone has driven into the back of my car ..

The main impact seems to have been taken by bumper and exhaust .. but my lights got it too ..

:ffs: :ffs: :ffs:

So now have no idea about the drift meet and JAE ..

And I've got a splitting headache .. :crybaby:

Not another prang - I feel so sorry for you guys that really invest time and money in your cars and then get smacked.

I'm a bit ignorant to these things but is it a chance to mod further ? (trying to find a silver lining here).

Also, Try D&M autos, i was training to be a painter there many moons ago, but they dealt with insurance repairs and were usually quite good on price, and done a good job too!...

...The guy is a bit of a kn*b head tho!

it doesn't look bad on the outside ..

The top of the bumper is about an inch too far in .. and the lights have all separated ..

but push the bumper and there is nothing behind it ..

:o ***** dude, i know just how you feel.

a week after getting the supra this twonk in his chav'd up escort skidded into the side of me (and yes i did keep that very quiet didn't i :D )

I was lucky though that he hit me square on the wheel so no body damage, im getting the wheel refurbished as we speak. Whole front of his escort was knackered though, serves him right.

But its getting progressivly worse and worse out there on the roads today, its getting to the point where im having near collisions with maniacs on a daily basis and im starting to get scared of taking the supra off the driveway full stop.

on a lighter note though i saw a twit who had written his new tvr off in bracknell the other day, cops there and everything and a tvr ripped apart like an old tin can  Damn i love to hate TVR drivers. Not as much as i despise Scooby drivers though

Again sorry to hear about your car man, thats pretty sh1tty

Surely the guy who hit you is paying for it?

I'd take it to a Mercedes repairer just to make sure its done to the highest standard and the highest cost to the tard who hit you :D

Looks like the following ..

Bumper

Lights

Exhaust

and a bit of labour ..

I dont think that'll be enough to write it off mate but it depends what damage lies behind the bumper.

If the chassis is damaged then it could become costly

The damage needs to be 75% of the cars value before they write it off.
