Timing chain damage on Dcat Rav4

Hi all 

It look like my lovely 2.2 dcat rav4 200 7 has terminal damage to the engine after the timing chain broke. the Rav4 was the 180hp model so I was very attached to it. my Question is what engine is suitable as a replacment some people are telling me the Avensis is a suitable replacement

There is a risk when buying an engine of this era that it suffers from the oil burning / head gasket issue. Sometimes problematic engines end up in breakers yards.
