Scottish Monthly Meet Anyone?

The next Scottish TOC meet

Just been thinking it would be a good idea to have a monthly TOC meet

as although there are plenty of cruises about, its mostly boy racers.

So id like to try and organise a decent one!

I was thinking of a kind of rolling meet where we can meet up at a specific place and either chill and chat or go convoy style!

Also would be quite a good idea to have it in a different location each month

to suit every one,

that way it wouldnt be the same people having to travel long distances to meet's

each time

Ok guys and gals,

How does the last sunday in august (29th) sound?

I was thinking to have the first one in Glasgow since there's an MR20C meet

in Edinburgh on the 1st and most of us are going to that anyway.

A meeting point wont be a problem but what we're going to do might be!

If anyone's interested in going karting, there are a couple of indoor karting tracks within 15 mins of the city centre. (one of them has a cool monaco style flyover!)

Cant remember the prices but its around £10-£12 for two 15 min bouts.

I'll confirm this if theres enough people interested.

If we can get about ten people to go then i,ll phone and book it

so can all the definates raise there hands! ;)

As I said in the other thread mate, I think it's a good idea. Also a good idea to change location now and again. Maybe have 2 different meet locations ? Then alternate them ?

there is a few meets organised on my site. tomorrow we have a meet with some of the scooby owners from scoobynet, VW Meet and there is a few other clubs going. dunno what it'll be like as this is the first one

There are actually quite a few members from scotland, just some of them dont really post that often, would be good to get a meet with say, more than 20 cars!
