New Avensis Owner

Good morning everyone.

I've owned my 10 plate Avensis Estate 1.8 Auto for a couple of weeks now and must say I'm impressed. The ride and build quality is definitely better than the Merc C Class 220cdi I previously owned.

Back to the Avensis. Can you help me with a couple of things please?

1. The centre console is rather deep, is there supposed to be a tray or organiser inside it?

2. The HDD/CD player does not display the album or track details, Am I doing something wrong?

3. Is there some way to program the car so that the mirrors fold automatically when I turn off the ignition?

4. There's no USB for my memory stick music files. Can I just replace the aux socked in the centre console with a combined Aux/USB as a straight swap?

The centre console on my 07 was a two part one, the same as my Mercesdes C200 K was. The top section had a cupholder built in, the bottom section had a deeper storage section. The auto mirror function, if available, might be a dealer programmed option. If it is, then someone with a Toyota TIS Techstream program and cable should be able to program it for you. As far as I know, the 07 model was manual only.

This is what I did - 

My car is the non navigation version. The USB adapter plugs into the CD changer port.

I am currently enjoying the Wefa adapter.
Apparently not all systems are compatible so check with the companies.
