Hi,

I am from USA and really love my Toyota Yaris.  I've owned it 13 years, and this Toyota has been more reliable than any of the US-made vehicles I've previously owned.

It's too bad it took until 2007 for the Yaris to make it across the pond to North America, they are really great vehicles. It seems like Toyota has a huge following in UK/Europe and across the globe. Americans seem to be overly obsessed with large, petrol-guzzling trucks and cars in my opinion. I am now officially converted from Ford guy to Toyota Fan.

I look forward to reading your forum posts and hopefully will get some ideas on budget performance upgrades that I can do to my car. Also get some ideas on how to fix or diagnose issues with my car when they happen.

Thanks,

Joe

Welcome Joe.

I had a new Corolla 1.4D4D hatchback in 2007 when I lived in Normandy France. Sold it after 30 months from new as returning to the UK and didn't need a left hand drive. No issues in the 45,000km covered.

Have had several old RWD Volvo since the corolla as a daily. A 1989 Volvo 240 GLT estate petrol and still have a 1996 Volvo 940 turbo estate petrol since then.

Recently bought a 2015 Toyota Auris Hybrid estate. It's great.

James:thumbsup:
