My Vodafone fone, VFD900, has been getting very 'jiggly' in the charging port..... the end of it being No Charge/No Data.

Searching Google for inspiration (it is a glued on back/no Battery access) I feared the worst.... that would be paying for a FoneShop repair 😞

BUT....

 

..... this guy shows how to do it. I used SWMBO hairdrier to get some heat into the back and it simply peeled off (... with lots of sweating from me!)

eBay part £6.99 delivered f.o.c. and in a day!!

It's the little victories....... 😉

There are many sites with simple guides like iFixit, i have been repairing phones, consoles and laptops/notebooks since the early 2000's, every one and their dog does it these days tho
