Toyota IQ Electric Window Help Needed

Good afternoon all, My wife's 2009 Toyota IQ driver's electric window made some strange clunking noises as I tried to close it. As a result, it got stuck open about 5" from the top. A right pain! Now, when I operate the switch, I can hear 'things' moving but the window doesn't move. The window can however be manually slipped downwards another 5 or 6" so I've had to tape it in place at its highest position. Does anybody know what the problem could be, where I could start to diagnose it or, even better, have any recommended places to fix it in the North Wales area? Many thanks in advance. James
