Lads I did something I think bad I tried to jump fan relay Circuit with power probe it’s the orange 5 pin relay circuit when I applied power to it only one fan came on I checked the terminal on relay circuit and applied power to the other ground terminal to see if the 2 fans would come on and the circuit breaker tripped on power probe when I put relays back in the slow speed fan works but the high speed fan won’t work the other 4 pin relay beside the 5 pin relay has on the controll side of relay pins 2 12 v on pins 85 and 86 which I think should be power and ground on 85 -86 and power and ground on 30-87 but 30-87 tests okay but 85-86 both have 12 volts is this right or wrong forgot to mention key is on with ac on and blower running inside car

as well as that just noticed the alternator when taking readings from bat terminals when car is running readings are 12.7 volts should be 14.1 volts

but on loading with ac on and blower and headlights on the readings are normal 13.9 very strange

lads do I have a bad ground or did I damage something sending power in to the relay circuit

Is that 12.7 volts at idle? If so, try again with the revs raised to maybe 1500. The idle revs will often raise themselves when the electrical system starts to get loaded, so it could explain that behaviour.

I checked it about 2 hours later she was ticking over at 14.1 volts with no load 13.8 with load but when I leave her ticking over for 40 mins the voltage on tickover goes down to 12.7 with no load but when I load it with lights ac and radio on the voltage goes up to 13.7 very strange

The 12.7 volts is possibly the alternator control cutting back to stop charging when it sees a full Battery. Your Battery could be marginal, get it tested. Also, you need to be checking the fan fuses and the connectors for them for the original problem. You could get a Techstream or some other diagnostics equipment with bi-directional control, and the tests included should mean that you can command the fan circuits (and others) to ON to see if they work that way.
