Hi I cant find an electrical drawing for this car does anyone have one please? Is there a specific fuse for the camera? Basically the reversing camera has stopped working. Reverse lights still work. Has anyone else had this issue. Thanks guys.

Is that an early mk3 ? Auto or manual ? Does your reverse light work ? Does the screen change when put in reverse ? i take it you have the Touch radio ?

Does the rear wiper work ? What about the number plate lights ?

The camera is powered off the Touch but it's not 12V (Edit. The Camera is 5.8 - 6.5V)

have a look in the hidden service menu - i cant remember of the top of my head but there is a check function for the rev and vss

The touch2 is just an evolution, the hidden menus are similar

Hi Flash22,

Sorry for late reply the car Battery died. Had to wait for a new one to be delivered. Ok got into menus system check modes says DA DETAIL  then AUX. On the Function Check Setting I page the camera setting is greyed out?

Any ideas? I cant attach photos it says -200 and failed.

iirc there is a 200kb limit on pics you just need to resize it

Greyed out usually means its not detected,

unplugging the radio and plugging it back in, may do the trick

Hi Flash22,

Ok Ill give that a try. I guess if its powered by the head unit its not fused independantly? Clutching at straws with this a bit. Perhaps try an alternative camera or head unit from a breaker?

The power comes from the stereo and is current limited rather than fused, check the power and grounds and physical connection for the camera iirc the loom plugs into the camera

Nav pinouts.pdf

These pinout are for the later touch2 but the basics like the camera are the same
