FM radio and apple play

Hi Guys

The other day i noticed a really annoying event in my Corolla Hybrid. If you have your iPhone plugged in via USB and playing FM radio and you choose to browse the web or click at your twitter account and browse the FM radio cuts out after a short interval with the phone connection being terminated. None of this makes sense as my Wyse app obviously hits the web through 4G and everything works. If you unplug your iPhone and use it without Apple play then everything works fine greatly puzzled.
