Toyota Team Europe do a set of lowering springs for the Previa, they bring the height down by 30mm front and rear. We have fitted some to our F1 Previa and they do flatten the car out a bit, especially at the rear, which would suggest that the 30mm is conservative.

As for bodykits, they are not cheap. Nemesis Performance do a Veilside kit which we fitted to the car as well. If you want to see a photo of the car, have a look at the JAE 2004 Gallery page 2!

so far Eibach where the only company that i have found to do lowing springs.

-35mm @ £170

any ideas how much the geniune ones are?

also did i see estima hybrid lights on it

and are these available in the uk?

do these fit H7 bulbs?

this would probably be just as cheap to get new headlights as to get a new conversion?

Fit tyres with a higher speed rating. The higher the speed rating, the better and stiffer the construction of the tyre.

I've got Michelin Pilot Premacy "V" rating on my wife's 02 Previa, which greatly improved the handling and have worn far better than the standard "Energy" tyres.

The other tip is to run the tyres at the top pressure rating. This reduces the shear angle when cornering by increasing stiffness, improving handling.

Anyone come across uprated brakes?

i will probably look at getting the same tyres as the ones i had on my galant VR4.

yoki 539's , but also might try out toyo T1-S's.

think we will stick with 17" as 18" tyres are just too damn expensive for everyday use.

prob run them at 38 all round?

on the brakes, i was kind of wondering if they had a standard fitment across the toyota range?

obviously there are different dia. disks but i would guess most are 5x114.3 pdc.

thought it would be nice to try and fit supra disks and calipers to it :P

does anyone know if the sat nav/cd has pre outs on it?

not holding out much hope on that 1 tho'

more pics of the previa F1

TTE Lowering Springs for the Previa can be viewed on their website and are available through a local Toyota Dealer, no idea what they retail for though.

Website is www.tte.de

well.

seeing as the HID conversion did'nt fit, i went and got some replacement H4 bulbs and ditched the nasty standard ones.

got some of the POWER 2 NIGHT GT-150.

these work real well, much wighter with a greater range on them.

also put my led sidelights in.

still saving hard for a set 18" wheels and lowering springs.

was going to get 17" wheels but the tyre choice is very small 215/50/17 as apossed to 215/40/18 which are easy to get hold of.
