Toyota Aygo 2013 Radio unit not turning on

Hi guys, 

First, sorry if there’s another topic with this thing, i did a quick search and nothing came up.

So... my 2013 Aygo’s radio suddenly went dead few days ago. No matter what button i’m pressing won’t turn on. Also, to mention that the usb socket it’s not working as well. I did changed the radio unit’s fuse which is located on the left of the steering wheel as i read about this might be the easy fix but still won’t turn on.
Somebody recommended me to cut the Battery off for 1hr, which will reset everything, didn’t do that yet...
I have to mention that was a bad water leak in the car boot which made the whole interior damp but this was fixed and now everything is dry. Might be related somehow???

Anyway, i would really appreciate any suggestions about what to do next.

check the fuse box under the bonnet 15a fuse 7

the fuse box is quiet hidden so you may not even know its there.

i have heard of the connections sometimes being corroded

so check the condition of the blade fuse

Just done that. I checked all the fuses as well and still nothing...

any other suggestions?

Following this as I have the same issue with the daughters car. I have took the Battery out, left it out over night, checked all the fuses to no avail. 

Next steps is take the radio out and check the connections and wires

Is anything else not working, i take you looked at the internal fuse box as well as the one under the bonnet
