I’ve got two questions I need help with:

1 Does the Toyota 5 year warranty still count on a 16 plate avensis that was purchased second hand from a SEAT dealership?

2 Is the fuel pump covered in the warrant?

Any help and guidance is much appreciated.

The Toyota new car warranty covers the vehicle for 5 years or 100,000 miles, whichever occurs first.

Provided the car i still within the above mileage, on the face of it the warranty should still be valid. Service history may have a bearing on any warranty claim  - for example services every 12 months or 10,000 miles (12,500 if a BMW diesel engine), if it has been serviced outside the Toyota dealer network proof of correct servicing, etc.

When did you buy it from the SEAT dealer? If within the last six months, you can probably use the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to get repairs done by the SEAT dealer. See ' the first six months' section of -
