Taking Air Filter Out!

Right, iv looked at the Modding an Air filter by SRI James or sumit like that but still need help.

I was curious and started looking about the engine bay, and was lookin at air fitler, although i cant get it out. My friends mate hada go, and he got one side uncliped (right hand side), it just clipped off, but he couldnt get the left hand side off......do i just undo the screw?

just push it over to the left and it eventually pops off

its just a hook latch type of thing

its a 1L 2002 yaris
