But that's the idea - if we're able to group up and express our complaints as a consumer mass - like they do in the U.S. all the time, then Toyota might take action - which in this case will be to just allocate some resources to fix this. If it doesn't require any physical changes to the vehicles - only a software tweak, then it is ridiculous not to fix this. I know they did a similar thing to old Mazda CX-5s - they offered retrofit addition of AC and AA after 8 years - customers had to pay like 500 bucks for it, but still.
