Hi, does anyone know the reason why the boot does not open or close itself when you press the button at the back. .? It was working recently and it’s stop doing now. The garage mechanic said nothing shows on the computer when connected and need to go to Toyota Dealer to further checks. Dealer close till end of 2 nd week June due to covid 19. Anyone know the reason or anyone had these experience before with manual Toyota RAV4 new model 2015. Thank you.

Do you mean the power operated tailgate is not opening?

If so there is on off switch in the glovebox on early 2015 Rav4 with blue dash display or

on Facelift late 2015 an on/off setting in the Multicolour display ( next to speedo ) use the switch on steering wheel to goto settings and check the settings under PBD ( power back door )
