My wife has got all her dashboard lights in a blue colour. (VW Polo)

Is there anyway I can do this on the previa.

Thanks

Thanks, What do you mean by "the right ones"

Well, most dashbulbs are a standard type. Cant remember what they are called, but they usually just screw in. I replaced the dash bulbs on my Calibra and apart from the actual taking out of the dash parts, its a 2 minute job.

I am not sure if Toyota have the same screw in type fitment and wouldnt want you to get the wrong ones.

If you want to make them yourself you will need to get the soldering iron out, and buy some LED's and resistors (bit fiddly).

Best thing to do would be to have a look and see what you have and go from there.

I have the email address of someone who can make em up for you. I will dig it out and post it here later.

i think if you have taken the time to rip the dash apart you might aswell go for the LED's they use a lot less current, less heat and a much crisper light output.

ultraleds

i will be making a order into them soon.

just need to pull the dash out and find what sort of fitting it uses.

oh. and make a decesion on blue or white B)

Can anyone tell me how to actually remove the dash so i can get to the lights?

One of the lights on my dads V reg previa has gone so only three quarters of the dails are visible at night.

I'd like to replace it with a new one. I've started to take my yaris apart slightly and i'm a bit of a wizz with me screwdriver.

Can anyone help me.

Thanks.

Haven't taken the plunge yet, but probably will try soon. How do I know which bulbs are for the dashboard, and how many bulbs are there.

To take the dashboard apart, you open the central fusebox, and you will see some bolts which have to be unscrewed, the the dash can be taken apart. My son did this when he fitted a couple of fog lamps. Had I known at the time that he was taking it apart, I would have cheked it out then.
