The Vehicle Certification Agency is an agency of the Department for Transport, so would assume their information is correct. According to the Honest John review, a revised 2.0 D4D with lower emissions was offered from December 2011.

Aside from that the V5C vehicle registration document will show what Euro level the car is - ie 4 or 5.

And i also check here https://www.hpi.co.uk/content/diesel-news-the-future-of-diesel/hpi-euro-emission-standards-checker/  and show me euro 5, im  totally confused , i bought  the car week ago and today i check exhaust system and saw DPF, still waiting for V5C , but im payd 165 pounds  for a year, you think is not possible any mistake in DVLA

Not DVLA, it is the Vehicle Certification Agency - a separate agency of the Dept for Transport.

I've just used the VCA checker again - an Avensis first registered between January and November 2011 is EURO 4, and an Avensis first registered in December 2011 is EURO 5.
