what about the travulo (??) ones? i think they are the black ones that face at you....

It depends what type of camera it is! Did you see a flash??

Up here, they only use mobile vans so you always have to be on guard and then it takes upto 6 weeks to get a letter through the post!

I get really paranoid about it at times but its not worth it.

Truvelo cameras:

Take the pictures from the front (i.e as you approach them) or from the rear i.e as you are driving away. They can also be focussed in to include the drivers face and Reg of the car.

Gatso cameras only take pictures from the rear.

Nah, it was definately a GATSO, with two flashes. It most probably was the guys on the other side of the road, but it did give me one hell of a fright.

Can't wait for tonight though, I'm going to sleep like a log

Yeah, Truvelo's do work as you're travelling towards them and have no flash.

Well in Fife it does anyway, they only use mobile video vans so you dont know where they will be from one day to the next. They are usually quick to reply though, 3 - 4 days. Its annoying cos you dont know the range on the things!
