I`m having some difficulty finding which are the correct batteries for the key fob as mine went a while ago and I canno`t yet find out what type they are.

Hi,

If you mean you threw the batteries away, afraid I cannot help, but if they are still there the Battery type should be stamped or printed on the face of the Battery, something like CR1616 is commonly used in Toyota fobs, but not sure about your 1999 one ?

Once you open the fob, look on the inside of the casings, it might also have the Battery type printed on it as well as the orientation,

If they are coin cells like the 1616 then you might be able to confirm it more accurately because the 1616 means 16mm diameter and 1.6mm thick. These are all widely available in Home Bargains and the like (decent quality to).

If it was a small round cylinder type then you need to determine the size and voltage. Common ones were the 11A type and the 27A type,

Why not just ask a dealer what size they are.
