I have a 2015 Auris Hybrid, pre facelift.

My radio keeps loosing the signal and conking out. The other day drove to Birmingham and on the outskirts put the radio on and no signal! 5 minutes later came through. I thought a DAB radio would be better. My ordinary Lexus IS220D one never cut out even through the Queensway Tunnels. 

Is this normal with DAB radio? Or faulty?

Do you have a dash cam fitted? As the DAB is embedded along top of the windscreen and Dash cams cause electrical interference, this can mitigated by adding a "Ferrite core" to the cash cam power supply lead.
