I am glad too, because I noted a few things. Some people thought that the MOT extension applied to cars whose MOT were due in weeks/days before 30 March! I new of a car with MOT expired 15 March (a week after mine), that was on the road in use. It recently got MOT'd. Then a tester warned that there could be a back log of owners trying to catch up. Also with care and social distancing, there was no reason to delay testing, and the authorities much have realised this. I know of garages that were testing during the extension period.
Anyway, it's done now.
