IQ3 centre console problem

I have a problem with the centre console on my IQ3 (2011). Periodically it goes blank but stays lit and none of the buttons around it (apart from hazard lights) do anything. At the same time, the green ECO light on the dashboard flashes. After a few days it goes back to normal (until the next time it happens). Any ideas? Also, does anyone know where I can get hold of an air-con compressor without paying a fortune? Thanks - Ash

try unplugging and plugging the display/controls and check the 10a HTR IG fuse, tbh it's a part swap job unless you have some electronics skills
