Interior lighting for Touring Sports

Has anyone replaced the original interior halogen bulbs with LEDs and can specify which type of bulbs are used for the front, back, glove-box, sun-visor lights?

Interested in this too, was thinking of also chaning the halogen bulbs of the number plate.

The license plate bulb is W5W. I changed mine into Philips LED product. Very easy swap.

There's actually a tutorial on how do change these in Toyota's own user manual as well. I think it was under maintenance. Just be careful with prying these bulb covers (lenses) out. Use some plastic tool.

Visors are also W5W

Boot depending on trim is either already LED strips or a W5W

Centre roof lamp: with pano roof 10x30 feston, without pano roof W5W

Front roof lamp has holder mounted bulb and is not listed by bulb type, part # 81936-12160

If they're the same as the Prius they are the 194 wedge type bulbs (aka 501,W5W), accessed from the top of the unit

 

Just looked it up Prius and PHV 2015 onwards, Auris 2009 onwards use the same holder(s)

The vanity light units fall apart when being removed if you aren't very careful indeed...
