I Got A New Job

Woohoo

I was phoned today to be told that I was successful through two interviews and have a new job in the pipeline B)

So soon I will have all the perks of a sales consultant including them installing broadband at my house (I will also be working from home) B) And I will get normal 9-5 and no weekends

Only downside is I may need to sell the Corolla, but we'll see what happens...

Sorry guys not selling broadband - it's just one of the perks :P :D

I will be selling optoelectonic/lazer/photoelectric sensors and switches to virtually any industry that utilises sensors and switches. It sounds a bit dull, but it's a start to a "normal" life :D

As far as selling the Corolla is concerned, it's something that might have to happen as I will have a fully exensed company car that I can use for personal things. As you guys know the corolla was meant to be a cheap runnabout whilst I get the finance together to get another MR2 (Rev3 +). Selling the corolla would free up some cash andsave me on road tax, petrol and insurance costs, but then I would eventually loose all my NCB (max at the mo) not having insurance personal insurance for a long while. Dunno still thinking about it... BUT I won't sell the corolla uintil it's fully restored.

declair the rolla on SORN, bung it in the garage and tart her up over time

obviously the company car use to drive around but keep a very limited policy on the rolla to keep your insurance valid.

when its time to get the MR then sell rolla for a cash injection and youll still have a full on NCB insurance at hand

The lease on the current co. car expires early next year... So I will be asking for a car alowance instead of a car. That way they can finance and fuel the MR2 :D

Somehow I doubt it will work tho But you never know B)

I used to do shift work so I can understand how nice it is to do the 9til5.

If I were you I'd get rid of the company car. A friend of mine used to have one, but got rid of it because his taxes went up as a result. Everyone where he worked realised at the same time that it was cheaper to use their own cars and just claim expenses for the mileage.
