Hey mellow, is your car a Galliano model?

Posted

sshhh dont tell any1! yeah it is

Posted

That's a great colour and I see you've wisely removed those rather dodgy bluey green stickers from the sides! ;) nice wheels too do you have any more pics of your car?

Posted

those wheels are direct from germany.. they cost a bomb... platinum finish. they're a bit scuffed up now but nobody dares refurbish em cos they cant get that finish again... the only way is to send em back to germany, but its almost cheaper to buy some OZ Supperlegras... which are so light with the magnesium composite.

i have got more pic, but rhaines posted em for me... i'll mail him some more to post up later

I know what you mean!! It was 'Oli_paseo's' car, 'Snake oil' is the Canadian guy who has that wicked looking black one with the full Booster kit.

I think the kits around for the 2Gen 'Seo aren't worth the effort, they ruin the cars lines, with the exception of the Booster kit.

Some different rear clusters wouldn't go amiss tho!! I was wondering about either colour coding the orange lenses or getting some all red US style lenses shipped over from somewhere....prob won't bother tho!!

either of you two guys going to the next TOC meet? I'm very interested to check out your cars – being so closely related to mine :)

Hey, I'm hoping to attend Jap Fest, don't know if Mellow is going? Wouldn't mind having a look @ the Sera actually! :)

Posted

Hey everyone, just wanna say Hi really,

i drive a imported 92 Cynos B (the paseo's import cousin). no real mods apart from my sound system. (and a cracked downpipe  )

hey 97paseo, if your going to japfest, you want to do a road trip & hook up with Oli_paseo (ill ask if he's going) & another 2 'seo's from paseopimp? i was going to max power but something came up, Oli's going to be in the top 50 cars arena.

Also im starting up Team paseo UK... would be interesting to get as many UK members involved.. got 6/7 from paseopimp so far inc Oli... im working on designs for the website then i can work on regular meets/track days, maybe combine it with the Sera meets B)

yeah that black booster kit is nice! i was gonna get a custom kit put on and go mad by changin virtually every panel.

i spoke to Davlynns in the midlands who sed they could flare the arches, get some MR2 side vents cut in, get a custom bonnet and add the Scooby's 22B spoiler to finish it off.

we arranged to meetup and go thru some designs butthen then told me they need the car for like 6months to work on it, but wernt even gonna offer me a replacement for any length of time! i woulda gone for it but i need my car!

maybe nextyear, im still keepin the Seoafter iget the Alfa (which im test drivin in a fortnight!), so ifi manage to savew up enough, i could do it then...

sorry guys, cant make it to the meet

Hey J! :P

If I make it to Jap Fest I will most likely stay down there the night before or might be coming from north london way, wait & see when it gets closer! But yea it would be cool to get Oli & a few other Seo's together!

Spent £275 on mine today with no mods to show :( !Removed! rear shocks & MOT & tax  Could have spent that on p/plate... <_<

:)

are all the other paseos located in kent?

i've only six in the midlands, but theres two of you guys on this site from Kent... how many more of yous are there?

Posted

i cant remember who was from kent or not, from memory (which isnt good) weve got another 3 paseos down here, then youve got Oli in Bristol, & someone else in Lincolnshire

ok, so i guess we got the most then...

but im the only modder here... evry other owner here has a standard model.

anybody know whewre i can get a set of front fogs for the 97 seo on the cheap?

Posted

I spent ages looking for fogs but all I could find were the Booster ones & they aren't cheap! <_<

In the end I mounted some onto the existing plastic inserts, the alignment's all shot tho - but they look the part!! :D

Posted

how much are they? i know toyota directly sell them for £125 +VAT but i dont really need them to justify that.

hey gtcynos, where abouts are you??

not sure how many paseo's over here have engine mods, except Oli in bristol. he's a member of paseopimp.com (Oli_paseo) & dont think he knows about this place

not sure on the figures but i think his is chipped & a couple of other things + NOS.

couple of people in the US are pushing 400bhp i think. most have the 4efte or 4age. nobodies put in the 3sgte yet though.. ;)

what do you drive then big hav?

Posted

Nothing special.

A 98 Nissan primera si.

You may have noticed it around as it has a stupidly loud stereo.

Previously had 3 x 12w3's

Then recently a RE xxx15 with 1.6kwrms.

Selling soon may get a starlet gt turbo or a fast civic.

i know there is a lot of BIG BHP claims going around but more often than not they are never proven on the track or the rolling road. ive almost finished the engine for this year just waiting on the front mount intercooler, (then i have to start the bodywork). once finished the car will be going to the rolling road to get retuned hoping to make big power.

have raced subarus through traffic and on clear roads have beaten uks but only raced one jap and that was 300+BHP could sit with him through traffic but when the road cleared he pulled away around 110mph.

have seen the kitted gen 2 in max power. tidy car but i dont really like the bodykit
