I'm assuming I have the same alarm, its a CAT1 so shouldn't be too shabby. Where was the car parked when this happened?

I would imagine Oli's Seo is de-locked, study the pics & have a closer look. maybe investing in a Clifford or something would be more benefical than de-locking?

which ever they are, they are damn loud! umm im thinkin of of getting mine all delocked n badged, but am worried about security to the boot, cos at the mo, its on a deadlock...

im kinda septical about clifford... my mate recently drop a cat 1 in his and it has its flaws imho. for one, any deep rumbling exhaust (mine for example) that drives past the car sets the alarm off! yeah u could set the sensitivity down but that sort of defies the objective.

and then there is the STUPID siren... why does it need to sound like an ice cream van has just pulled up with all those different sounds....

If ur looking to upgrade, why not take a look at Toad? they do some good stuff...

386? is that £386? to do what? replace the old Badge or to flush it off?

my my local Badge says £25 for a replacement... gonna take the seo logo off soon... then maybe change the exhaust again!

:o Mellow: Nah, not to do anything like mod it. 386 was to replace the whole lock, in acordance with the rest of the car. Bearing in mind my mums one was bout six months old when she got it and broke it, and toyota said you couldn't just buy the swivel badge back then. So does that mean you can buy the new swivel bit?

Already debadged mine. Its not as fun people knowing what it is. Good luck with getting the paseo one off. Separate glued letters all the way!

Its a pain bout that lock, 17s sitting in my room, and the springs should be ariving in the next week. Don't particularly want to put them on, and invite more attention. Did you put the springs in yourself? If so, is there anything to take into account with the paseo?

you can get a new Badge for £30ish inc vat, im sure the barrel comes out of the middle to keep the same lock... but if not, i dont mind havin a second key for the boot.... £386 is still steep man.... my garage said £260 to change all locks... but that was when i thought i lost my key, it fell behind my bed after a drunken night out...

things to consider when dropping it? one thing "springs" (sorry) to mind... and that give it to ur local garage... my guy charged me £30 to drop all four... its not like i needed a receipt for the labour or anything...

so which wheels did u go for?

i got my spring for 80 from my local... Coventry Wheel Base 024 7668 7907. but thats cos i know him well and send a bit of custom his way... otherwise i thinkits £100 for a 40mil drop with PI.

give a ring and ask for Paul... he'll be able to help u out. and if you ask for his brochure, you'll find my car in there on page 3 :P
