Cable behind radio

Hi everyone,

I just bought a Toyota Auris 2010 Hybrid. The car came with a plain Toyota CD/Radio player without screen. The car does have a rear view camera on the boot but as there is no screen it isn't used.

I decided to upgrade this to an aftermarket radio with a screen and rear view camera.

When I removed the old Radio, I found an unused cable behind the radio. Is this cable the cable for the rear view camera?

That's an early mk1 Auris hybrid it would have had one of the pre Touch systems - B9030 iirc

Connects 2 do the adapters - be aware the rear camera is 6v

give me a bit and i will look it up

That plug is for an unused switch (maybe Mic), the camera should be on a 24 or 16 pin connector

On Auris of that age may have rear view camera display in the interior rear view mirror
