Was going to be between £700-1000 for me full comp with 0ncb. But since the twit in the escort graized the side of my car im crossing my fingers that its not going to affect me :help:

Either way, we all love our cars so much that really you pretty much pay whatever rather than be without the car

Just got a letter from my old insurance company saying that I have 3 years NCB. I don't know how as I did claim last year.

Basically it's now halfed my insurance with A.Flux !

wooooooohoooooooooo !!!

I paid £900 the other day, and now I only have to pay £60 per month !! Instead of £280 !!

Sweet as happy yum yum pie !!!!

:D

PS : I'm now in a good mood !

Hi jimlad

Wow thats really good that is mate. I will have to give A Flux a call as my insurance is due next month and i think that i'm paying through the roof with tesco. I'm 34 years old and i pay £424 for the year. Thats £35 a month.

I would have though at my age i would be able to get a bit cheaper than that and thats with the mod's declared.

Nice one Jimlad - I've been with Adrain Flux for that last couple of years and nobody has been able to get close to their quotes :D

Saying that tho - do I live somewhere really dodgy??? ~£600 for the Yaris TS (29 with 7 years ncb) with all mods declared. Although I just switched from a Civic 1.8 VTi (slightly modded) so they are probably bumbing me so they don't have to give me any money back! <_< Up for renewal in Nov so we'll see what they come up with then...

Dont want to put a low in your mood bud....

But ring the insurer make sure they know you had a claim last year.

If you dont and they find out later you could either have the policy voided or increased in price. Or worse case would be you find out just when you need their help and need to claim, and they notice you dont have the ncd history that they thought you did.

Read the clause in your contract of insurance of disclosure "upmost good faith"

You must disclose all information about your insurance history.

they do know... or they should do as I did claim.

I doubt it is an error.... my current insurer phoned them up to make sure I did have the 3years NCB and I do.
