Hi All!

I’m currently travelling in Australia (well was before the virus) and purchased a 1998 Tarago imported from Japan.

Some of the dash buttons are in Japanese but are fairly straightforward I.e. aircon.

But I can’t for the life of me work out what the below button means, and it’s not even in Japanese! Below it is the ECT Power button.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Hi after a search on the internet I found this

When pressed, the ECT PWR button will adjust shift points so you can reach higher RPM levels before shifting into the next gear

I think the top button is to be able to switch off the internal movement sensor.

This is to allow the alarm to be set when leaving a pet inside the car without the alarm going off when the pet moves.

That symbol HAS to relate to some alarm/sensor function...does it have gap sensors.?

Think it almost certainly disables the interior alarm sensors for when animals are in the car.
