Hello from a Toyota lover.

When I sold my Corolla recently (180k, standing two years, started first time and drove onto trailer) I thought my Toyota journey was on indefinite hold.

Then my elderly father abruptly quit driving (thank God, he was becoming terrifying) and I have inherited his 2009 Aygo Blue. 120k and it has yet to go wrong outside of service stuff. Very well cared for, no expense spared. I've had a fair few cars and have never liked a colour this much!

I feel bad for mocking it as a 'clown car' since he bought it nearly new - I'm used to much bigger, posher and far more powerful vehicles but no car for a couple of years due to illness means I am very grateful. Yes, 0 - 60 is next Tuesday and torque is a foreign concept bit it literally gets me from one place to another and that is more than enough. £20 tax and 60+ mpg is a definite bonus for my current budget.

I plan on a light restoration and if I can ever be bothered chuck my old audio system in though as I mainly listen to talk radio and will do few miles probably won't bother.
