Cat stolen and replaced help

Cat was stolen  off car taken to garage repaired new cat put on and pre cat oxygen sensor as It was cut

cat is after market replacement and sensor was told it’s from Toyota 

now i have lights up on dash again has already been back to garage they say everything fine doesn’t seem likely with lights up 

will get code read and post codes later 

any ideas would be appreciated

Maybe the cat is not as restritive as a OEM. I have exacly the same problem with my avensis. Even after replacing the cat (aftermarket) and all the sensors, CEL keeps coming but after diagnostics, everything seem's ok, even the emissions

You need the OBDII codes to trouble shoot. Buy a OBDII  scanner from Home depot or on line, only about $20.

Looks like that CAT is not working adequately.

One possible fix is to add an extension tube (14 mm) to O 2 Sensor 2 to reduce its sensitivity and fool  ECU to think CAT is working well.
