Hi there,

I am worried about my corolla mmt gearbox because it makes a grinding noise every time the car is stoped for a while.

So if I park the car, and drive after 10+ minutes, it looks like it's stuck somewhere and makes a noise that goes away almost immediately.

If I am not gentle on the throttle, the noise is much worse.

But I can't hear it if I stop and drive again without turning off the engine.

I can hear the mmt clicking sound when changing the gears though, but I suppose that this is normal.

The gearbox level was ok.

The clutch seems to be ok. The car pulls well for a 1.4 diesel.

Does anyone have any idea about this kind of problem?

Thank you in advance
