Yaris Mk2 Tyre Pressures

Hi

I'm new, and have recently acquired a 2006 1.0 Yaris T3.

It's quite a change from my previous.., a 2002 Golf TDI, particularly in the ride quality.

It's not exactly bone jarring, but....

Anyway, Ive been consulting various sources on the correct tyre pressures. Tyres are 185/60 x 15.

Owners Handbook :  Front 35      Rear 32

Michelin                 :  Front 30.5    Rear 29

Kwik Fit                  : Front 32        Rear 32

Would welcome your experiences of what works best ... ?

Surely as Toyota designed and manufactured the car, the tyre pressures they state in the owners manual are the correct ones.

32 in the rear, 34-35 is about right for the fronts, it's just a case of what feels right and keeping an eye on tread wear, a proper 4-wheel alignment makes a big difference on older cars

i would run a little bit more in the rear if you have a load or passengers in the rear

Don't know if Mk 2s have the same? There is also a label stuck to the inside if the glovebox lid. On mine it has the size of tyre fitted and the recommended pressures. Including a spacesaver spare.
