Checked out friends 2012 Prius.

Last week I saw my friends top of the range Prius. He replaced it after a problem with his 2007 had an issue, and he lost faith with it. Very nice car and in good condition. I put my Netbook with Techstream on it, and there was a historical code stored - P3000. My friend said it is when a cell has a problem and probably fixed. Anyway the car runs well, so hopefully he won't need to do much apart from routine servicing. He had a shield installed to protect the cat' converter. He reports that he is getting better economy too. I told my friend that some of the engine service parts are shared with my Avensis Valvematic - oil/oil filter/spark plugs. The engines look similar with the obvious differences. My friend wanted auto door lock, but that is not part of the car system. Overall he is very pleased with the car.
