Hi Zee,

ok here goes according to the sales broucher its a

2ZZ-GE (and have seen E12 ref else where) 16 valve DOHC 1.8,

hope that helps you to help me

cheers ;)

2zz-ge is the engine code for new Corolla TS (E12 is Toyota code for newest Corolla)...

2ZZ-GE is the same engine block as the NEw Celica 190 (1800cc 2ZZGE VVTLi 190 Bhp). Blitz do an induction filter for this and details can be found HERE and then you can order direct from them at Blitz UK

ALternatively, here is a link to our friends Fensport who have older Corolla tuning options AND also the new 2ZZ-GE block. The link below takes you to products - hit the parts link on the left and you can choose the car of your choice:

Hope these help pal......

hmmmm - looks like a decent piece of kit to be honest Jake. It would be interesting to see what kind of gains it produces though. And also what kind of a filter it is - you want a filter that doesn't suck in too much crap into the engine....

Hi jake well when you have got all the mods on. Will you be taking your car to get tested. On how much bhp you have gained??

jerry!!

Hi Jerry,

I might as well the guy supplying & fitting the induction kit, has a rolling road, so I think I'll go back to him once the xzaust is done, which may get done before the induction kit, will let you know how it goes :)

Hi jake. Well that all sounds great. Hope it all goes fine for you mate. Word of warning if you are fitting the induction kit. Please be careful with the mass air sensors on the airbox. As they are really delicate. Try not to knock them about. Or else the engine light will be coming on :(

hello from Greece and congratulations for your forum

My father has a 2002 corolla t-sport and we have a little experience on the "air box issue".

Here in Greece we do not have integrated solutions such as Blitz and we are trying with self designed solutions to achieve some things.

Straight into the point we tried to install an HKS filter (mushroom it is called here in regard to his shape) and we make an aluminum pipe to a specialist so we can install there the sensor.

The result was catastrophic....200 euros lost and a dissapointment in our faces.

The warning light was on and along with it also the VSC and the TC lights.

These 2 systems were not working (Corlla drifting by 4 :o )

I was told that in many cases with Blitz induction kits the engine warning light was on but the car was running without a problem....any experiences? :D :D

Redline do supercharger kits for that engine, think it adds around 50bhp for a couple of grand.

Jake , Ring me please r.e Exhaust and quickshift for your Corolla and a quick chat.... Cheers
