Infotainment system unresponsive

Got in my 2019 corolla 1.8 corolla excel wagon to come home from work this morning and the whole infotainment system was unresponsive, I couldn’t even use the steering wheel to adjust the volume. The map was displayed but the touch screen and controls were  unresponsive . I arrived home to reversed on to my drive and the reverse camera took an age to come on . Turned off and restarted car and the system restarted ok . Surely this isn’t right ? What should I do so this doesn’t happen again. Thanks

There is likely to be software updates for both the Head unit, Navigation unit and new Maps, what version are currently installed?

Press Setup button then on screen press General LH menu set then in the RH menu set scroll down to Software update you should see below the head unit types:

Audio: latest is 1011 on cars Without carplay/android auto

Audio: latest is 1075 on cars with CP/AA

Navigation: latest is 1540 on cars Without carplay/android auto

Navigation: latest is 1140 on cars with CP/AA

navdb_version: latest is 2020v1
