Cd Player ‘sos’

Hiya friends,

I got a serious problem with my CD player -original toyota. It all started with the player stopping in the middle of a song and it blocked. Had to switch off and on for it to play again. Then, (some mins later) it stopped completely. I removed the CD and replaced it by another one thinking that the CD may be faulty. However any other CD I tried was ejected without playing. It accepts the CD, turns it for sm seconds and ejects it !! :crybaby::crybaby: Can any1 help me and tell me what I can do? Does it need servicing?

I am distressed coz if the CD player is faulty n I have to replace it, I will have to remove that combo pack original Toyota (CD, Tape, AM/FM). It may ruin the dash appearance. I players are moulded in the dash…see the pics:

If the lens is faulty, I will have to order it and it will cost much. Or I can try a CD rack.

Have any1 met with such problem b4? I am really distressed coz I just spent my savings on personalised body kits and my car is actually undergoing the installation and paint work. Help plz… :crybaby:

SOS
