Avensis 2010 T27 2.0 diesel..How much oil do I need for a service

HI GUYS

Carrying out my annual service this weekend, just oil and oil filter change, along with air and pollen filter, mileage sits at 63k, purchased my parts at my Toyota dealership, they gave me 6L of oil in total, for the life of me I cant remember how many Litres we need to fill,  i would have asked my dealership but they were closed today, Google doesn't seem to provide definitive answers, some suggest 6.3L ? Should I fill 5L and then check dip stick and top up as I go?

What are the consequences of over filling btw?

This is from the owners manual (page number depends on the version and age of the manual).

 

According to the manual, if your engine has DPF catalytic converter 5.9L, without DPF 6.3L. You will need mostl the oil you have or more depending on your DPF.

Cheers Konrad, filled the 6L in today, fresh new oil, engine sounds beautiful and pulls like there's no tomorrow! I always wonder what state the dpf is in, its one of those parts you just can't see inside!!
