:help::help: I'm looking for any suggestions how I might sort out a shallow bump. Some little Ned has taken a kick just above and to the right of the rear lights on my offside panel.

It looked like the inside of a DIY kneepad if you know what I mean - a sort of shallow hollow. I've pushed it out from the inside (I was able to push from the jack compartment) but the body work still is a little wavey. Got a quote of around £300 to fill and respray but think this is a bit steep since I spent a Grand on repraying damaged bodywork only last Novemeber.

I would welcome any suggestions how to go about a DIY panel beating job. The paintwork isn't damaged and I can work from inside out.

Thanks if you can help. :help:

Do you have a Chips Away or similar in your area. They are excellent at just that type of thing. Try http://www.chips-away.com for starters. Others go by different names and do the same thing. Around Milton Keynes is a guy called The Dent Magician, he is amazing, Aston Martin often call him into their factory. Most charge around £50 so its pretty reasonable.

I can vouch for their work as well. A workmate called them in for a dent on his Merc, they did an excellent repair.
