Problems in painting in a new Yaris

I live in Greece and on 14/4/2020 I bought this car.
Yaris 1.5lt 5D Y20 Edition, 1F7 SILVER ME
VNKKG3D320A191142
2NR7184826
After a thorough inspection of the car, the following defects were found in its paint:
Hood has one spot with a pimple.
L/H front fender has one spot with a pimple.
L/H Roof side rail reinforcement has one spot with a pimple.
L/H Front Door, the external surface has three spots with pimples.
L/H Rear door, the external surface has one spot with a pimple.
R/H Rear fender has one spot with a pimple.
R/H Frond door inner surface has dents and wrinkles in the paint.
L/H Front door inner surface has dents and wrinkles in the paint.
Trunk door inner surface has two points with pimples and imperfections.
Roof external surface has two spots with pimples and imperfections.
R/H front fender has a spot with chromatic differences inside the paint.
R/H centre body pillar has five spots with pimples.
L/H centre body pillar has four spots with pimples.
The spoiler has one spot without paint.
R/H front door frame has eleven spots with pimples.
R/H rear door frame has nine spots with pimples.
L/H front door frame has ten spots with pimples and imperfections.
L/H rear door frame has eleven spots with pimples.
R/H rocker panel has eight spots with pimples.
L/H rocker panel has five spots with pimples.
The trunk door frame has two discoloured spots and two points with imperfections and pimples.
At 87 points of the car paint, there are defects that need repair and repainting.
There is no surface of the car ( interior and exterior ) that has no problem with its paint.
I wonder how it passed the quality control in the construction factory.
The car was painted without standards
Toyota has inspected the car and has acknowledged the problems with the car's paint.
I have requested the replacement of the car with another of the same equipment.
Toyota has not given me any responsible answer. I have parked the car in a closed parking lot and I use a taxi.
Toyota tried to deceive me by selling me this car, which has defects that even a man without sight can see.
Because either the car has not passed the quality controls mentioned in the official Toyota warranty or it knew them and sold it to me.

It wasn't Toyota that sold you the car, it was the dealer, so your contract is with the dealer.

Have you sent the dealers a registered letter rejecting the car  and not just dumped the car in their lot, not sure on your rights in Greece as this is mainly a UK based forum, there is no point in getting angry about the situation keep the line of communications open

TBH the paint can be corrected but it up to you if you are happy with that solution

In Greece the purchase is made by officially authorized Toyota sellers. I bought it from one.

The car is guaranteed by Toyota Europe and Toyota Hellas

I have sent letters to Toyota Hellas and Toyota Europe and while Toyota Hellas and the official seller have accepted the defects I have no official response.

All surfaces of the car must be repainted. I do not want that.

Same as in the UK. The contract is still between the dealer and the customer.

Is this a Derby, UK production car?

I am shocked looking at the state of the defects. Toyota quality control has gone to sleep.

It is made in France. They slept or had an order

European made Yaris have always been built in France.

Derby currently makes the Corolla hatchback and Touring Sports.

The quality controls in general for the quality of the car are guaranteed by Toyota Europe and Toyota Greece. The car has factory paint.

You are absolutely right to reject the car, I am totally surprised that it could have left the factory like that, or perhaps the vehicle had suffered damage in storage or transit before purchase and was then 'repaired/repainted' by a local outfit either way the workmanship and quality is well below par.

Good luck and I wish you a speedy conclusion and please let us know the outcome.

The contract of sale is between the customer and the dealer, and is separate to the new car warranty which is provided by Toyota Europe and the Importer (Toyota Greece).  What you need to do is to get advice from the Greek equivalent of trading standards on the local legislation re rejecting unsatisfactory goods. There may be a time limit on when one can reject unsatisfactory goods, and this is one thing you need to be aware of.
