advice on second hand Yaris or Aygo

Hello,

I'm looking for advice from some Toyota connaisseurs to help me decide on getting a second hand Yaris or Aygo.

The car will be mainly for city use, it will be driven by my gf who soon (hopefully) will get her license.
She will mainly use it to get to her job, space for more passengers and luggage isn't that important but ofcourse might be handy at times.

It will be a manual shift gasoline version.

The prices for a second hand Yaris or Aygo aren't that much apart from another and as i get it both models are known for their durability and hence low maintenance, so things like driveability, size (parking!) and the overall feel seem to be the things to decide on.
For now the Aygo seems to have the upper hand because it seems a tad smaller than the Yaris and my gf likes the looks of it best.

Anyone likes to share his experiences / insights?

What approximate age are you considering?

Well it's going to be her first car so it will be a golden oldie for it to allow for some learning moments without the wallet getting punished that much, so let's say from 2010 as youngest models.

Since i read everywhere how reliable the Aygo and Yaris have proven to be over the years i think we'd do good looking for a model with a relatively high km usage but then with some extra luxury options like an airco etc?
