Normal ones don't bring much money but breaking a T-Sport is quite feasible

Scrap it you should get £40-50 from a breakers then you don't have the hassle of parting it out, storing the parts or waiting 18 months to shift the parts and disposing of the items you don't want or need

and of course the constant nagging to get rid of it

We've stripped a couple of cars over the years and taken the parts to an auto jumble.  Made hundreds of pounds.

Bumpers, doors, seats, seatbelts, light fittings, bonnets, wheels, interior trims and dashboards ............................ the list seems endless.  Engines can be stripped too as you can sell cylinder heads, turbos, fuel systems, and even gearboxes.

Providing you have somewhere to dismantle the car and the time to do it, and be able to get rid of the bare Shell - even cutting it into pieces - you can sell the scrap metal as well.

Mick.

You'll get more than scrap value for the parts, but you won't get the same amount that you'd get for stripping a T Sport or a Mazda MX5 for example (there's a lot of money to be made in stripping rusty MX5s). Wheels, seats, all bolt-on body panels will be the stuff that's easiest to sell. Put a listing similar to this (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BREAKING-TOYOTA-YARIS-SR-1-3-VVTI-2000-2003/264851080889?hash=item3daa5ac6b9:g:ppsAAOSw9v1fC8Je) and you'll get people messaging you asking for specific parts. Since Yaris' aren't owned by people who DIY on their cars, it might take a little while to sell some parts. Engine and gearbox will also sell eventually.

Have a go, breaking a car is a good way to learn about spannering on cars too!
