Tree Sap

i have got a small blob of tree sap on my paintwork. it is like glue. any ideas how i remove it without fetching the paint off. thanks

Try a good quality tar remover like Autoglyn. I had my car polished with Supagard, expensive but I think its worth it if you want to look after your car. I get bird droppings quite often and the best way to remove that is to gate a sponge and put it over it squeze and leave the sponge there to make it go soft otherwise you can scratch the car when its still hard.

my car is only 3 months old and was supposed to be protected with the toyota finish (a bit like the supagard). do you think i should take it to the garage and give them a b0llocking.

You can but they always have an excuse, I bought my wife a new corsa and had the option of having it supagarded by the main dealer they wanted £340 but I got onto the supagard main website found the area rep who got his own lads to come to the house and do it that way i could watch them do it and they did a good job saved me a lot of money. I've heard from a few people that you can normally get two possibly 3 cars out of one supagard polish, which is a bit unfair the likes of me and you.

+ you can never be sure its been supagarded before you get it.

Don't judge all dealers the same some you get a good service

if the job they made is guaranteed there is no excuse...

but i advise you AutoWax or Ziebart... their job is always guaanteed for a year...
