Indicator flasher units

Hi 

I have a Toyota Avensis III Estate (T27) 1.8 (ZRT271_) 147 HP 2010 year uk model right hand drive car

the problem is indicator flashing unit is rapidly clicking

where can I purchase replacement flasher unit and can anyone supply part number as I seem to be unable to locate correct item, is it easy replacement under the dash somewhere.

I don't think there is a flasher unit as such. On most modern CAN bus equipped cars the indicator clicking you hear is a computer generated noise played through a speaker.

Is it not just a blown bulb as that is the most common reason for indicators flashing rapidly?

When you say the 'indicator flashing unit is rapidly clicking', do you mean the clicking and and indicators are flashing at a faster rate? Also does this happen on the left side, right side or both? Have you checked the bulbs all around? The front and rear bulbs are standard, whilst the mirror repeaters are LED. 

Anyway the part number you are after is 81980-0D040, as shown in the following diagram.
