2010 rav 4 dab/am button

Hi all,I presume the dab/am button on the 2010 rav 4  means that the dab relates to dab radio, however the system does not receive dab. What do i have to do in order to get dab without changing the system? I presume its possible?

The DAB/AM button was there for when the optional DAB module was fitted. On stereos without the module, the button does nothing.

 Mr T would probably still be able to find one somewhere, however, when I got this option enabled by Mr T, if my memory is correct, it was about £350 and the reception was pretty rubbish as they used one of the crap stick on windscreen dab aerials.  I had to spend another £100+ to get a proper sharks fin aerial installed on the roof to replace the existing whip aerial.

I have since long replaced the Toyota unit for a Kenwood all singing and dancing headunit and it works perfectly with the sharks fin that I bought previously, this is what I should have done in the first instance.
