So What Went So Badly Wrong?

Hi everyone

As you all know that Bibbs and I both went along to the drift competition at silver stone What really stumped me as where the hell were the Lexus guy's???

Bibbs said as it's just us to we should go onto the Lexus stand. I thought great idea Blanged are way through security and in through the gates towards the Lexus stand.

Parked up and thought nothing about it. We even blanged a cheap pass into the grounds as well by saying we are with Lexus club. Well we are kind of really ah ;)

Came outside to get a bite to eat and was shocked to see this :o :o :o

Yes you guess it not a soul.

They had reserved a great big pitch with security guards walking about all the time and none of them couldn't be bovered to turn up :o

So on behalf of bibbs and i we would like to say thank you for giving us a really nice and large VIP parking plot just for us Cheers guys :D

The were loads of posts on the forum.

I think the organisation of the event was a little poor. There was not enough communication between Option and TOC/LOC.

Us Northants people were OK as one of our members were able to pick up tickets from Option a week or two before :P

But as Ben & Jerry found out, they were holding space and tickets for LOC. I am very surprised that some LOC members just didn't show up anyway. There are a few of them local-ish to Silverstone too :(

Some SXOC members are also critising the judging of the event quite heavily - especially when they allowed the James Bond Lotus through to the next round when it was not worthy of it.

But I enjoyed the event and thought the guy who won deserved it

after repeated emails to the organisers of the event, i heard nothing back, so assumed nothing was organised for LOC.

lots of guys were intrested, but as i couldnt give them any info, no one turned up.

Maybe next time the organisers will actually let the clubs know what the hell is going on.
