White smoke when warm

Hi just bought a 2007 rav 4 4wd Deisel T180. it starts to emit white smoke from the exahst after about 10 min driving , previous owner said it has had a pressure test and all was ok , it drives really well with no lack of power , doesnt overheat and coolant level stays ok as do the oil level . it also gives off an odd smell , the DPF warning (P2002} comes on occaisionally dont know if this is causing the smoke . ive put various fuel additives in and taken it for long runs it goes off for a while but so far keeps coming back on ( ive only had the car about a month) , any advice on how to stop this smoke would be most appreciated as it can be very bad at times

I had the same problem, it turned out to be a duff fifth injector. Toyota didn't find it after looking twice (or maybe they did and didn't want to tell me as the price would have been too steep), eventually an indie located it and then coded out the injector. Now it's OK, we drove it for 6 months, its a bit whiffy but also we think losing power - he has it back again currently to look at them.
